Today, at a Chamber Of Commerce hosted forum in Manassas, Terry McAuliffe was asked to take a position on the Bi-County Parkway. He refused to take a position, saying “I don’t make decisions” and when the moderator requested McAuliffe tell voters what he thought before the election, he dismissed the question as “cute.”

Mark Liebovich’s This Town, a gossipy DC insiders book that is said to describe Washington as “a roiling swamp of narcissism, hypocrisy, insincerity and money-grubbing” was released today.

And wouldn’t you know it! Mr. DC, Terry McAuliffe, is mentioned 57 times by name and 18 additional times as “the Macker." Among the highlights: Leibovich visiting the "vast and mostly uninhabited” GreenTech offices in Virginia, Terry discussing his prostate exam at length, McAuliffe walking down the red carpet “just like they do in Roanoke,” and the Macker already advising Hillary Clinton on her 2016 campaign.

Liebovich’s book didn’t have an index but if it did, much would’ve been dedicated to McAuliffe. This is Terry’s town, we’re just living in it.
