New AR PAC Memo: Recent Polling Trends Show Americans Aren’t Ready For Hillary

Since leaving the State Department, Hillary Clinton’s favorability numbers have taken a sharp nose dive, indicating that her standing with the American public is much different than her campaign would like you to believe.As her candidacy has been beset by scandals over her email server and questionable donations to the Clinton Foundation, pro-Clinton forces have argued that the controversies aren’t breaking through or impacting voters’ perception of her, often citing a CBS News/New York Times poll as evidence. But unfortunately for Secretary Clinton and her team, they are glossing over a lot of serious problems in her numbers.

In a brutal editorial, the Ohio Valley’s Intelligencer lays into Ted Strickland for his utter failure as a governor, saying, “Strickland and his party have been dismal failures on just about everything that is important to East Ohioans.

Nevada Democrat Goes District Shopping, Crushing Democrats’ Hopes

Democrats had hoped Las Vegas activist Susie Lee would mount a challenge to their perennial target Joe Heck in Nevada’s 3rd congressional district, but she has chosen to join the Democratic primary in Nevada’s 4th district instead.

Lee’s decision to go district shopping and run in the 4th district instead of the 3rd leaves a top swing seat without a Democratic challenger and causes a crowded Democratic primary for yet another high priority seat for Nancy Pelosi.

Adding to the already long, proud history of flip flops from her three week-old campaign, Hillary Clinton announced yesterday that she would begin soliciting donations directly for Priorities USA Action—a liberal super PAC backing her candidacy.

The New York Times notes this is “the first time a Democratic presidential candidate has fully embraced the independent groups that can accept unlimited checks from big donors…”
